“What’s important to me is offering perspectives into worlds that people don’t often get to see. Do you know what I mean? From angles they don’t often get to see” Ryan Coogler

Kenzo Mendes is a photographer based in London, specialising in a black and white portrait and street documentary style of photography.

He wants you to feel the energy of his photographs through connecting you to the subjects in each image in a way the eye can’t see. Some of them may have walked past you in the street, and some of them you may never meet.

But each image holds the story of a real person, living their life on that day, in that moment. Kenzo is grateful to have been a piece in their journey, capturing that one moment and connecting them to you.

When he isn’t taking photographs, he’s riding his motorcycle.
